The Zild AppServer is a multi-threaded pure C Servlet Container based on the same architecture and design used in a Java based Application Server. Zild is also a full feature HTTP/1.1 web server, using a combination of threads and non-blocking i/o to make it on par with todays speediest web-servers.

Because of its functionality, speed, and small footprint, Zild is an interesting and competitive alternative to the more resource demanding and complex frameworks used for building web-applications today.

Zild is used by m/monit and is currently available as part of the source distribution of m/monit
