Connection_lastRowId on postgresql

Jan-Henrik, This call always returns 0 on a postgresql connection. I assume this is because my tables are without OIDs. Is that intentional? I can work around it. errors during Connection_clear/Connection_close

Hi there, me again :-) Whenever I close a connection that holds a prepared statement, the postgres backend logs an error like this: 2008-03-20 09:49:54 CET LOG: execute 1804289383: select user_idnr from dbmail_users where userid=$1 2008-03-20 09:49:54 CET DETAIL: parameters: $1 = 'testuser1' 2008-03-20 09:49:54 CET ERROR: syntax error at or near "1804289383" at character 12 2008-03-20 09:49:54 CET STATEMENT: DEALLOCATE 1804289383; it's *always* at character 12, where of course the stmt ID varies. It only occurs when I close the connection, I assume because that triggers a Connection_clear, which releases the statements. This doesn't appear to affect functionality, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence either, I suppose. segfaults in mysql driver

Jan-Henrik, I'm running into some problems with the mysql backend. I can't seem to retrieve long-ish strings. The attached code will reliably segfault on my systems. This code does *not* fail on Postgresql. how to deal with longjmp warnings

Clients can use this method to test if a Connection is alive. * API: Connection_clear() is exposed as a public method. Normally it is not necessary to call this method, but in some situations, if you use PreparedStatement_executeQuery it is necessary to call this function to close a prepared statement explicit. Basically, if you see this SQLite error, "SQL statements in progress", call this function to close any previous opened statements before proceeding. * Upon returning a Connection, the Connection Pool previously tried to commit a Connection if it was in a non-committed state, while now it rollback instead, which is assumed to be more correct. * Improved retry when SQLite report database lock, which should reduce the chance to meet the infamous SQLite "database is locked" error * Removed section 3 from "Tildeslash License Exception" so libzdb is licensed clear and permissive. * Internal optimizing changes
