[Announce] libzdb 2.10.3

Hi everyone Version 2.10.3 of libzdb is available: Download: http://tildeslash.com/libzdb/dist/libzdb-2.10.3.tar.gz MD5 checksum: 1436402b2aedb9189474021501d85562 This is a bug fix release which has been tested on the following platforms: * Linux 2.6 (x86 and x64) * Mac OS X Lion (Darwin 10.7.x x86_64) * Mac OS X Snow Leopard (Darwin 10.6.x i386/x86_64) * FreeBSD 6.x, 7.x and 8.x (x86 and x64) * Solaris 10 and Solaris Express (sparc and x86) * OpenBSD 4.x (x86 and x64) Changes in this release: ------------------------ * Fixed an Oracle compile issue. Libzdb now uses strict C99 and the Oracle code needed to use a typed union instead of an anonymous union for gcc to compile libzdb w/ Oracle. Thanks to Stas Oginsky Those that use Oracle with libzdb should update.

configure error: no available database found

Hello, I have just downloaded the library source, libzdb-2.10.26, and I am trying to install it. When running ./configure script I get the following error: configure: error: No available database found or selected. Try configure --help What is it specifically looking for? I have mysql database installed and running. The --help option does not really help to understand what's wrong. Konstantin.

Store Procedure

I'm having problems with a stored procedure that returns only one column. ResultSet_getColumnName(rset,1) has the header info but ResultSet_getString(rset,1) is empty. When i run it on MySQL it works. Please advice. Joe

Get Number of Rows

I need to get the number of rows in a query. I only see number of columns with ResultSet_getColumnCount Please advice. Thanks Joe
